The establishment of the CCO role is a strategic step to further align the Group’s commercial activities, strengthen customer partnerships, and coordinate efforts across markets to achieve Geminor’s 2030 objectives.
“Kjetil’s passion for business development and his deep understanding of our markets and customers make him the ideal candidate to lead our commercial organisation. With this change, we are better positioned to deliver the solutions our customers need and drive Geminor’s growth,” says CEO Håvard Framnes.
In his new role, Vikingstad will take overall responsibility for sales and marketing across all markets where Geminor operates. The organisational change also clarifies the structure between commercial and operational functions, ensuring a sharper focus in both areas.
“I am excited to fully focus on what I am most passionate about: developing our services and building strong partnerships with customers. Together with our dedicated teams across Europe, we will continue to deliver reliable solutions and create even greater value for our customers,” says Vikingstad.
At the same time, Kasper Houmark Thomsen will continue as Chief Operating Officer (COO), with a dedicated focus on operational excellence and efficiency across the Group.
The organisational changes follow strategic discussions held at Geminor’s leadership meeting in Copenhagen earlier this year, where key priorities and goals for 2030 were established.
“This is not about changing direction, but about building on a solid foundation and organising ourselves for future growth. By strengthening both our commercial and operational focus, we are preparing Geminor for the next phase of development,” concludes Framnes.
